I've known this guy for over 5 years (he's 28 and I'm 23).We hung out once. He always wanted to hang out with me but I've always declined because I was in a relationship. Now that I'm out of the relationship, I felt that I should pursue him. Two weekends ago I asked him to meet me at the bar with some friends.It was really fun. we enjoyed our time. After that I spent a night. He never called me during the week.until this past weekend he called me to go out with him. I agreed because I felt we hit it off last time. When we're together we get along very well, we like similar things, we're in the same profession, we make each other laugh alot. I can tell he likes me he's always wanting to cuddle and he's really touchy, and flirts alot. I feel really comfy around him. I asked him if he was looking for a relationship, a friend, something casual? (I don't think he would flirt and act like that if he just wants a friend would he? )He says I get serious too quick, and he still need to get to know me more. I asked him he sees me in his future? He says he doesn't know just let it happen.then he says honestly he's been single for a while and he is looking for a long term relationship. he says he's getting older and he wants to settle. I told him even if I am young I'm up for a commitment. I asked him why he hardly respond to my texts (during the week)he says he's really busy with work and school he hardly never have time. should I believe this? I understand he's busy but I don't deserve the cold shoulder. he's says if I can't hold on a little longer to his hectic life then it would never work out. I hope this is real. he's not in a relationship. When I think about this I feel rejected in a way. but then it seem like we could have a future. I don't know what to think. in one of our many conversations he says he will take me to myrtle beach since I never been there and he says within a year he would take me to CA for vacation. does this seem promising? although he doesn't call during the week, I don't want to be a booty call or anything like that....
